If you do not know Jesus Christ as your Lord & Savior, or you don't know him personally, and wish to do so, please pray the following prayer into your heart and He will reveal himself to you:
Your Word says that "whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord, shall be saved" and "if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that He died and that God has raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved".
You said that my salvation would be the result of your Holy Spirit giving me new birth by coming to live in me and that if I would ask you would fill me with your Spirit and give me the ability to speak in other tongues.
I take you at your word: I confess that Jesus is your son and is Lord. I believe that He died and you raised Him from the dead. Father God, please forgive me of the sins from my past--I'm sorry. Thank you for coming into my heart, for giving me your Holy Spirit as you promised, and for being Lord over my life. Amen.

3 Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God."
4 Nicodemus said to Him, "How can a man be born when he is old?" "Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb, and be born?"
5 Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water, and the Spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh and that which is born of the Spirit is Spirit.
7 Do not marvel that I said to you, You must be born again."
