Seven Spanish Angels
There are Five (5) Types of Angels:
- Seraphs (They declare the Glory of the Lord.)
"Above him were seraphs, each with six wings: with two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two, they were flying."
(Isaiah 6:2)
Then, one of the seraphs flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar.
(Isaiah 6:6)
- Cherubim (They protect the glory. They are over the ark of the covenant)
After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life.
(Genesis 3:24)
And make to cherubim out of hammered gold at the ends of the cover.
(Exodus 25:18)
Make one cherub on one end and the second cherub on the other; make the cherubim of one piece with the cover, at the two ends.
(Exodus 25:19)
The cherubim are to have their wings spread upward, overshadowing the cover with them. The cherubim are to face each other, looking toward the cover.
(Exodus 25:20)
There, above the cover between the two cherubim that are over the Ark of the Testimony, I will meet with you and give you all of my commands for the Israelites.

In the 13th year. in the fourth month, on the fifth day, while I was among the exiles by the Kebar River, the heavens were opened, I saw visions of God.

Also, from within it came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance; they had the likeness of a man. (Ezekiel 1:5)
Each one had four faces, and each one had four wings.

As for the likeness of their faces, each had the face of a man, each of the four had the face of a lion on the right side, each of the four had the face of an ox on the left side, and each of the four had the face of an eagle.

The appearance of the living creatures was like burning coals of fire, or like torches. Fire moved back and forth among the creatures; it was bright, and lightening flashed out of it.

- Archangels (Warring Angels--i.e. Michael and Gabriel)
When the angel of the Lord appeared to Gideon, he said "The Lord is with you mighty warrior."
(Judges 6:12)
When the angel stretched out his hand to destroy Jerusalem, the Lord was grieved because of the calamity and said to the angel who was afflicting the people, "Enough! Withdraw your hand." (2 Samuel 24:16)
Immediately, because Herod did not give praise to God, an angel of the Lord struck him down, and he was eaten by worms and died.

It was the archangel Gabriel who announced to Mary, Jesus' mother...
In the sixth month, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee.
(Luke 1:26)
The angel went to her and said, "Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you." (Luke 1: 28)
"You will be with child, and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus. (Luke 1:31)
He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord will give him the throne of his father David, (Luke 1:32)
and he will will reign over the house of Jacob forever; his kingdom will never end."
(Luke 1:33)
For the Lord, himself, will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of an archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.
(1 Thess 4:16)
But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not dare to bring a slanderous accusation against him, but said, "The Lord rebuke you!"
And there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and his angels fought back. (Rev 12:7)
- Common Angels (Wingless, dressed in white)
As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man, dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed.
(Mark 16:5)
"Don't be alarmed, he said. You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See, the place where they laid him.
(Mark 16:6)
But go, tell his disciples and Peter, 'He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.' "
(Mark 16:7)
...saw two angels in white, seated where Jesus' body had been, one at the head and the other at the foot.
(John 20:12)
He had a dream in which he saw a stairway resting on the earth, with its top reaching to heaven, and the angels of God were ascending and descending on it. (Genesis 28:12)
Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing, some people have entertained angels without knowing it.
